Cindy Pavlinac is a fine artist specializing in photography of sacred places. She works on location throughout Europe and North America photographing ancient sanctuaries and modern places of presence. Her award winning photography has appeared in hundreds of publications, including Time Magazine’s Pictures of the Year, Martha Stewart TV, and as Principal Photographer in the books Labyrinths and Sanctuaries of the Goddess. She earned a Master's Degree in Arts and Consciousness Studies focusing on sacred healing arts and dance in ancient cultures and a B.A. in Photography, minoring in astrophysics, with foreign study in Athens and Rome in archaeology. Dionysus whispered to her in Delphi, Greece, in 1977, calling her to a life of pilgrimage to sacred places, and the arts, bridging the ancient with the modern to inspire people through images, words, music, and performance. She can be found in her studio at Art Works Downtown in San Rafael or on a road trip with her dog Merlin.
